Ingredients:

1/4 cup oat bran

1/4 cup flaxseed meal

1 1/2 Tbsp nut butter

1 Tbsp agave nectar

2 Tbsp egg substitute (pasteurized)

1/2 tsp Watkins butter flavoring

3-4 walnut halves, chopped

1/2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

If you mix the wet ingredients with the nut butter first, and then add in the flaxseed meal and the oat bran, it is much easier to mix up.  I use a fork to mash it around.  At the end mix in the walnuts and chocolate chips.  Enjoy!

Whew, just added the calories up on this recipe.  It comes out to around 500 calories.   But it did keep me very full for about seven hours!  You could split the recipe into two servings and have a smaller serving with a piece of fruit.

**Smaller serving size:  I pre-mix equal amounts of flaxseed meal and oat bran and keep a container of the mix on hand.  Mix 1/3 cup of grain mix, 1 Tbsp nut butter, 1/2 tsp butter flavoring, 1 1/2 Tbsp egg substitute, and 100 calories mix-ins of choice (I use walnuts and chocolate chips right now.  You could use craisins and sunflower seeds, or whatever .)  Sweeten with splenda or SF maple syrup.  Approximately 320 calories.
